Introduction
Hearth, a local beloved coffee shop in Denver debuted their 4th location in October of 2025. Just off the main street of downtown Littleton, located in a small house is where they serve their classic and seasonal coffee items and delicious bakery offerings.

Back in September of 2022, founder Matt Quinlisk opened his first brick and mortar location in Denver's River North Art District (RiNo). Since then they've continued to expand and open three additional locations. Serving locals of RiNo, Uptown, Highlands, and Littleton areas, Hearth creates a familiar feeling so you always feel at home no matter which location you visit. After a visit to Hearth in Littleton, I am left with a lot to say. So let's dive into my review of the shop!
The Menu - Food
Let's start off with their food menu. At this particular location they have a full scratch kitchen menu. A large part of Hearth's original mission, and still is, is their dedication to using fresh, local, high quality food items.
During my visit I ordered the soup of the day, which was a roasted red pepper tomato bisque, served with a piece of toasted sourdough on the side. I also ordered the Yogurt Parfait, which includes Greek yogurt, their house made granola containing with oats, honey, raisins, and many other delicious things, and they covered it in fresh blueberries and blackberries.

My Order
The soup of the day was like any other bisque I've had before, but I will say the texture was so lovely and velvety smooth. The taste was on the bitter and acidic side, but you could taste the smokiness of the roasted pepper in the blend. The side of sourdough toast was essential to balance this bowl of soup.

The Yogurt Parfait was unparalled to any other bowl of yogurt I've ever had. Its mix of bitterness from the yogurt, sweetness and crunchy texture from the granola, and sour yet tart taste of the juicy blueberries and blackberries made a perfect melody of flavor in each bite. It was the perfect breakfast to pair with a nice cup of coffee.
The Menu - Coffee
Onto the main attraction....Hearth's coffee! They exclusively use Tablon coffee, which is a local roaster here in Denver that is also dedicated to using quality ingredients. They have their classic menu with evergreen options like a latte, cappuccino, and various teas. But they also have rotating seasonal options. I was lucky enough to visit this April when they were offering a Raspberry Danish Latte inspired by their very own raspberry Danish!

My Order
Of course I ordered the Raspberry Danish Latte (subsitute oatmilk), and it was just as magnificent as it looks. The fresh raspberry syrup on the bottom of the latte was just that. It's was as fresh as it gets, sweet as sugar, and vibrant in color. The esspresso is always a hit, and the cream cheese cold foam was the most elegant touch to round out this indulgent coffee!
To be honest, I didn't want the experience to end when I finished my drink, so I went ahead and ordered another. I went back and ordered an Oatmilk Matcha Latte with the same raspberry syrup. And once again, it wowed me! Creamy, light, and fresh, just as a matcha latte should be! I have zero notes!
The Atmosphere
As I previously mentioned, this location is in a smaller old house in Littleton. Which allows for a homey vibe, cozy atmosphere, and relaxed seating. There are inside and outside options which makes this the perfect place to go study, meet with friends, take yourself on a coffee date, go have lunch, or meet coworkers. Plenty of places to plug in your devices, variety in seating types, and lots of space to spread out. As far as I'm concerned, this shop has everything I've been looking for in terms of a relaxed hangout spot with delicious drinks and food.
The Infamous Jar Program
If you've heard of Hearth, you've likely heard of and/or seen their jars. Which is quite literally reusable glass jars that they serve their coffee in. These $1, environmentally conscious jars are offered as an option to purchase with your drink. Every time you return the jar to have your drink made in it, they will take off 50 cents. By your 10th drink you can get it for free! You're helping reduce waste, you're saving money, and you get a really adorable jar to enjoy your drink from! Its a win-win-win!
The Service
I approached the counter twice to make an order, and both times I was greeted kindly and asked if I had any questions or was looking for a suggestion! I can safely say that the service was great. I ordered and the process was very easy. While I politely waited for my drink, I got settled into my seat. They called my name within five minutes for my Raspberry Danish Latte, and a few minutes after that my food was brought right to my table.

Conclusion
Overall, Hearth is an incredible local spot. They have a clear mission to serve delicious, and environmentally conscious products. They are consistent between locations, present on social media, and always striving to improve their brand. Hearth is a gem to the Denver coffee scene, and you must try it if you're in the area.
